Moringa Hair & Body Care — Natural Canada
Moringa hair and body care with short ingredient lists and no sulfates. Two products cover the whole routine: a 2-in-1 shampoo and conditioner for washing, and a whipped moringa butter-cream for everything that needs sealing afterwards. Both are built around cold-pressed moringa oil and made without sulfates, parabens, phthalates or mineral oil. How to choose The 2-in-1 Shampoo & Conditioner is the wash step. It is deliberately low-foam — that is what happens when you take the sulfates out — so it will not lather like a supermarket shampoo, and it does not need to. It cleanses and conditions in one pass, which makes it a practical choice for travel, for anyone simplifying a shelf full of bottles, and for hair that gets stripped and frizzy with conventional detergent shampoos. The Moringa Butter-Cream is the seal step. Four ingredients — moringa oil, cacao oil, castor oil and beeswax — whipped into a concentrated balm that melts on contact with your hands. It is genuinely multi-purpose: lengths and ends of hair, dry patches on the scalp, and the parts of the body that stay dry no matter what you do to them. Note that it contains beeswax, so it is not vegan. Which one first? If your hair feels squeaky and brittle after washing, start with the shampoo. If it feels fine when wet but dry and rough by the afternoon, start with the butter-cream. If you are dealing with both, the two are designed to be used together. For very fine hair, use the butter-cream on the ends only — it is rich, and a pea-sized amount goes a surprisingly long way. For coils, curls and locs, it works best applied to damp hair rather than dry. How to use it Wash: wet hair thoroughly, apply a generous amount to scalp and lengths, massage into the roots, work it through to the ends, leave for one to two minutes, then rinse well. The one to two minutes is the part people skip, and it is the part that does the conditioning. Seal (hair): scoop a small amount, warm it between your palms until it softens, then work it through damp or dry lengths and ends. Leave it in. Do not rinse. Seal (scalp): massage a very small amount into dry areas as needed. Body: apply to hands, elbows, knees, heels and cuticles, and massage until absorbed. If the butter-cream is firm in cold weather, warm it between your fingers before applying — it softens in seconds. Frequently asked questions Why does the shampoo barely foam?Because there are no sulfates in it. Foam is a detergent effect, not a cleaning measurement. Apply it to properly wet hair and give it the full one to two minutes and it cleans perfectly well. Is the range vegan? The shampoo and conditioner is plant-based. The Butter-Cream contains beeswax and is therefore not vegan. Can I use the butter-cream on my face?It is formulated for hair and body. For facial use, our cold-pressed Golden Face Oil Serum is the lighter and more appropriate choice. Will it weigh my hair down?Only if you use too much. Start with a pea-sized amount on the ends, and add more only if the hair still feels dry an hour later.
