About the Products
What is moringa?
Moringa oleifera is a fast-growing tree native to South Asia. Its leaves, seeds, and roots have been used for centuries in traditional cooking and herbalism. We dry, grind, press, or roast each part to bring you single-ingredient products in formats that fit a modern routine.
Are your products organic?
Yes — our leaf, root, and seed products are 100% organic. Our skincare and hair products are formulated with natural ingredients, with cold-pressed organic moringa oil at the core.
Are your products certified organic and third-party tested?
Our leaf, root and seed products are grown to organic standards on our family plantation, and every batch is tested for microbial safety and heavy metals before it is bottled in Canada. Certificates of analysis are available on request for wholesale and retail partners — email us with your batch number and we will send the report for that lot. Our skincare and hair products are made in small runs in Canada under Health Canada cosmetic notification requirements.
What does cold-pressed mean?
Cold-pressing extracts oil from moringa seeds using mechanical pressure alone — no heat, no hexane, no chemical solvents. We keep the press below 49°C. That matters because heat and solvents strip out the delicate components that give moringa oil its character: pressing cold preserves the oil's naturally high behenic acid content, its light non-greasy texture, and its pale golden colour. It also means the seed cake left behind stays clean enough to be composted back into the plantation soil.
Where is your moringa sourced?
From our family plantation in the Caribbean, working with small-scale growers we know and trust. Every batch is cold-pressed or stone-ground in small runs, then bottled in Canada.
Are your products vegan?
Most of them, yes. Our tea, powders, capsules, seeds, and face oil are 100% plant-based. The Butter-Cream Pomade contains beeswax, so it's vegetarian-friendly but not vegan.
How should I store moringa products?
Keep all products in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Reseal pouches and tighten lids after each use. Refrigeration is not necessary and can dull the colour and flavour of the powder. Leaf powder and tea keep their colour best in the original resealable pouch; if you decant, use an opaque airtight jar rather than a clear one. Cold-pressed oil should be kept away from radiators and sunny windowsills, and used within twelve months of opening.
How to Use
Should I choose tea, powder, or capsules?
It comes down to how you want it to fit your day. Choose loose-leaf tea if you want a caffeine-free daily ritual and a mild, grassy cup — it is the gentlest introduction to the taste. Choose leaf powder if you want to control the serving size and stir it into smoothies, soups, sauces or baking, which is also the most economical format per serving. Choose capsules if you travel, dislike the taste, or simply want a fixed measured dose with nothing to prepare. Many customers keep powder at home and capsules in a bag.
How much moringa leaf powder should I take per day?
A typical serving is 1 teaspoon (about 1.5 g) per day. You can split it across two meals or take it all at once in a smoothie. Each product page includes specific recommendations.
What does moringa taste like?
The leaf is mild, slightly grassy and earthy — close to a green tea or matcha. The root is more peppery, almost horseradish-like. Seeds are bitter at first, then sweet. The face oil is unscented.
Can I take moringa if I'm pregnant or nursing?
We recommend speaking with your healthcare professional before adding any new herb to your routine, especially during pregnancy, nursing, or if you're on medication. Moringa seeds and root are particularly potent and not recommended during pregnancy.
