The Louis family, a small family business specializing exclusively in Moringa.
The Zest of Moringa adventure began over 10 years ago when my family and I were going to find some warmth and sunshine on my native island that I had left as a child. We had decided to buy a piece of land in order to build a house there for our old age.
One day, a friend in Haiti who knows my entrepreneurial side asks me if I know someone who could get her Moringa oil to make these local cosmetics. I discovered this oil and its properties. My wife and my daughters were delighted with the miracle virtues of Moringa whether it was to nourish their skin or style their hair.
Having always liked to undertake and support my community in a global way. I involved my family in this crazy project. To start from nothing, from uncultivated land, which I knew to be healthy and fertile. Indeed, Haiti is one of the few regions in the world that does not practice intensive agriculture and therefore does not use chemical fertilizers, the land is little used and has remained healthy, and I hope this will continue.
So I invested in solar energy and developed a 100% organic, fair trade and sustainable plantation with the help of
We started with Moringa oil, then produced leaf powder, superfoods and then derivatives and superfoods.
With this project, we want to give new life to a fertile land, and perfect our desire to undertake, improve our quality of life and that of our employees and our customers at the same time!
There are now 12 people working on the plantation in Haiti in production, half of whom are women. 6 people work in Montreal in marketing and distribution.
We prefer to produce and resell a small quantity of Moringa to maintain excellent quality.
