Full description
100% cold-pressed moringa seed oil for face, hair and beard. One ingredient, fragrance-free.
What Is Golden Moringa Face Oil?
Our golden moringa facial oil is 100% cold-pressed Moringa oleifera seed oil, and nothing else. No carrier oils, no fragrance, no preservatives, no fillers. One ingredient, pressed from moringa seeds and bottled by hand.
The colour is naturally pale gold, which is where the name comes from. It is a dry oil: light on the skin and absorbing in well under a minute, closer in feel to a serum than to a heavy facial oil.
Why Cold-Pressed Matters
Cold pressing extracts the oil using mechanical pressure alone, at low temperature, with no heat treatment and no chemical solvents. That is what preserves the pale golden colour and the light texture. Refined or solvent-extracted oils lose both.
Moringa seed oil naturally contains oleic acid, behenic acid and vitamin E. The oleic acid is why it feels conditioning; the behenic acid is why it can turn cloudy in a cold room, which is normal and clears when you warm the bottle in your hands.
Moringa Oil for Your Face
Use 2 to 3 drops as the last step of your routine. Warm them between your palms, then press, rather than rub, into clean skin. Slightly damp skin works better than dry, because the oil has something to seal in.
It is fragrance-free and layers cleanly under sunscreen and makeup, which is why a lot of people with sensitive or reactive skin prefer a single-ingredient oil to a formulated cream. Not sure whether oil goes before or after moisturiser? Our guide on how to use moringa face oil in a skincare routine answers that properly.
Moringa Oil for Hair, Beard and Body
The same bottle does more than your face. One drop smoothed through dry or damp hair ends tames frizz without weighing fine hair down. Two or three drops work through a beard and the skin underneath it. It also suits elbows, knees, heels and cuticles, especially straight out of the shower.
Our guide covers five simple ways to use moringa oil on skin and hair, including mixing a drop into foundation.
Which Size Should You Buy?
Two or three drops covers a whole face, so a small bottle lasts longer than the number suggests.
- 15 ml — face only, or a first try
- 50 ml and 100 ml — face plus hair ends
- 250 ml and 500 ml — head to toe, or sharing a bottle. Best value per millilitre.
How to Store It
Keep the bottle closed, in a cool dark place, ideally 18 to 22 °C, away from direct sunlight. Light is what degrades a cold-pressed oil fastest. Sealed it keeps around 12 months; once opened, use it within about six months.
Why Zest of Moringa
We are a moringa specialist, not a general supplement brand. The oil is cold-pressed from moringa seeds and bottled in small batches, with free shipping on orders over $50.
Common Questions
Will it clog pores?
Moringa oil is light and fast-absorbing, but every skin is different. Patch test first, and use it as your last step rather than under a heavy cream.
Why has my oil gone cloudy?
Naturally occurring behenic acid sets in the cold. Warm the bottle between your hands and it clears. An oil that stays perfectly clear at 5 °C has usually been refined or blended.
Does it have a scent?
No fragrance is added. What you notice is the faint natural smell of the seed oil.
Can I use it on my hair and face?
Yes. It is one ingredient, so there is nothing in it that suits one and not the other.
For external use only. Avoid direct contact with the eyes. Patch test before first use and stop if irritation occurs. Zest of Moringa skincare products are cosmetics, not medicines.
How to use
Apply 2–3 drops to clean skin and gently massage into the face and neck. Use daily as part of your morning and evening skincare routine, or apply to specific areas as needed.

How cold-pressed moringa oil compares with the most popular face oils, based on published lab and skin studies.
3.7 to 6.7%
Behenic acid. A rare fatty acid that the most popular face oils barely contain. It is named after ben oil, the historic name of moringa oil.
About 4× longer
Resists going rancid. In the same lab test at 120 °C, cold-pressed moringa oil lasted 34 hours before oxidising, versus 7.9 hours for olive oil.
+85% hydration
Tested on skin. In a 4-week study on 32 people, a cream with 25% moringa oil raised skin hydration by 85%, versus 48% for the same cream without it.
