Our Natural Moringa Oleifera Seeds are whole seeds collected from mature moringa pods. They are unroasted, unsalted, and contain no added oil, seasoning or artificial flavouring. Each seed has a light, wing-shaped outer shell surrounding the edible inner kernel.
The flavour may begin slightly bitter and mellow as you chew. The seeds can also be planted in warm growing conditions, though germination is never guaranteed and varies with seed age, climate, soil, moisture and care.
For eating: remove the light, wing-shaped outer shell and eat only the inner kernel. Chew slowly. Begin with a small amount to see how you respond, and do not exceed the serving guidance printed on the pouch.
To soften: after shelling, soak the kernels in clean water before eating if you prefer a softer texture.
For planting: soak the whole seed overnight, then plant about 2 cm deep in moist, well-drained soil. Keep the soil warm and lightly moist, never waterlogged. Germination time and success vary, and germination is not guaranteed.
